Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2026. By using Event Ecosystem you agree to these terms.

1. The platform

Event Ecosystem is a marketplace connecting customers with venues, vendors and organizers. We facilitate discovery, booking and payment — the service itself is delivered by the vendor you book.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep credentials confidential, and be at least 18 (or act through a parent/guardian). One account per person or business unless approved.

3. Bookings & payments

• Booking requests are confirmed at the vendor's discretion; dates are held only once confirmed.
• Prices are in Naira (₦) unless stated. Deposits, installments, cancellations and refunds follow the listing's stated policy and the platform's commerce rules.
• Commissions and service fees, where applicable, are shown before you pay.

4. Vendor obligations

• Listings must be accurate (capacity, amenities, pricing, availability). Misrepresentation may lead to suspension.
• Verification and ratings are separate: verification reflects identity/business checks, ratings reflect customer reviews from confirmed bookings.
• Vendors must honour confirmed bookings or resolve cancellations promptly with the customer.

5. Reviews

Only customers with completed bookings may review, once per booking. Fake, abusive or incentivized reviews will be removed.

6. Prohibited use

No fraud, impersonation, scraping, spam, unlawful content, or interference with platform security.

7. Liability

The platform is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to fees paid for the transaction in question. Vendors remain responsible for their services.

8. Changes & contact
